Altered World Events (AWEs)
Ordinary AWE (AWE-24)
Location: Ordinary, Wisconsin - Site of a massive Altered World Event triggered by the discovery of the Slide Projector, an Object of Power capable of opening thresholds to other dimensions. Multiple children, including Jesse and Dylan Faden, were involved. The town experienced mass disappearance events and dimensional instability. Event led to the founding of the Prime Candidate Program.
Altered Items
Rubber Duck (AI52-AE)
A yellow rubber duck that exhibits teleportation and elusiveness. When unobserved, the duck changes position, making containment difficult. Emits a faint quacking sound even when no sound is physically produced. Currently secured in Containment Sector, but under high-level observation protocols.
Flamingo (AI46-KE)
A pink plastic flamingo that levitates and emits low-frequency vibrations. Individuals exposed report feelings of vertigo and intrusive thoughts. Suspected to have originated near a shopping mall in Utah. Currently under research in the Ritual Division.
Known Objects of Power
Service Weapon (OOP1-KE)
A shifting firearm bound to the Bureau’s Director. Takes multiple forms and only responds to individuals deemed worthy. Connected to the Board and the Astral Plane.
Floppy Disk (OOP5-KE)
Capable of launching telekinetic projectiles. Previously held Soviet nuclear launch codes. Found in a nuclear missile silo. The object emits a low hum and is used to unlock telekinetic powers in Parautilitarians.
